<p>This time will be different. That’s what I said.  Different is not always better or easy. But I have used my time well trying to get the balance right. I made an important discovery -again. I am a speaker not a writer. I like doing my radio show and teleseminars more than I like blogging. They are easier and more fun for me.</p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>Doing what I’m good at.</strong></span></p>

<p>Whenever I start to experience success, I then  start to focus on it with all my energy.  When I am building my business, I tend to ignore my health. And visa versa. Right now a new joint venture, www.SmartOfficeStrategies.com and the speaking part of my business are taking of like gangbusters.  And I don’t want to ignore my health.<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;"><br />
I made 2 major shifts</span></strong></p>
<p>In December, I come up with my “I AM ECStatic” Model. And I had a major shift. I am getting better and faster results! The reasons it works are a) It makes you feel good and b) It sets comprehensive and holistic goals. Then in March, I had another shift. I learned how to handle my fears and excuses. I didn’t eliminate them but I can give myself permission and the conditions I need to move forward. Taking just the first step is ok.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: medium;">This was the 3<sup>rd</sup> major snow storm we have had this season. The 2<sup>nd</sup> in less than a week! I wasn’t getting any work done. Then I made a decision and set some intentions.  I had a 3hrs tape I kept putting off even though I wanted the information. I’ll watch it.  I have a winter coat I want for the snow. So I ‘ll clean out some storage boxes. And I’m going to give myself some spa time –without quilt.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Really? Well yes under the circumstance. I now know how to get the best results of my time while snowed in.  I did all three of my intentions. At the end of the day I said “Great day” instead of  “What happened to the day”. What a difference! And I’m smarter, warmer and prettier!</span></p>

Years ago, this question was asked in a teleclass I attended on building my business. And to my surprise, I started to cry.  What was going on?  This question really tapped into something buried deep.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">Why this and why now?</span></strong></p>
<p>The year 2009 is coming to an end and 2010 is closer than you think. As I thought about goals I had not reached, I had to ask myself “What am I afraid of?”  The answer may surprise you.</p>
<p>So what was my answer? For my business, I was afraid of being alone. My wise husband reframed this for me. He told me, I was not alone; I was just out front making it possible for others to follow! My business took a huge jump.</p>
<p>For weight loss, my fear was that people would notice and listen to me. That is very strange for someone who wanted to help others. Marianne Williamson said, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?”</p>
<p>If we don’t uncover our power, our results in 2010 will continue to suffer. We will hesitate to reach for our most ecstatic success.  What healthy choice will the powerful you make today? Let me know.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Everyday you are faced with new information and new choices. How do you process it all? We set up a filtering system, whether we know it or not. When you are clear on what your principles are, those filters become more attuned to your needs. You get to what you need sooner.<br />

Here is my example. Recently, I decided to make a conscious, focused effort to lower my blood sugar. Previously, I have always felt a good diet and exercise would do that. So I am not surprised, that suddenly I am finding great information on this, in the same sources I had been reading.</span></p>

The variety will work your muscles better and keep you from getting bored.  Also have a back up plan to your favorite routine &#8211; some long, some short.
